Happy Birthday, Bach!
Bach turned three months old today! We can’t believe how fast the baby of Twin Squeaks has grown up! It seems like just yesterday that he was a tiny five-week-old pup at the Midwest Gerbil Show! We took the photo to the right today.
Bach celebrated his birthday by turning a Pop Tarts box into a new nesting box and by creating a lot of new tunnels in his tank. He’s also been hard at work, gnawing on a couple new chew toys.
The birthday boy is all worn out now and snuggled up for a nap with his tankmate Sebastian. :)

I love black gerbils too! Bach is such a good name! so cute! i wanted a black gerbil, but i had no idea they had Kirks color, like light yellowish brownish. Happy Birthday to Bach! Happy Birthday to Bach!
On January 4th, I adopted a male gerbil that looks just like him! He was only eight weeks old.

Hi everyone! Sorry for my extended absence. Work's been crazy, we've unfortunately had some gerbil drama (will post about that on our new blog, and we've been trying to figure out how to migrate the blog (and picture of the week), because Blogger is discontinuing support for FTP (which we've been using).
Since even Blogger's migration tool wasn't working like we needed, we finally decided to move to WordPress. Unfortunately, since the migration tool didn't work, we had to change addresses or risk losing all the old blog posts.
