Gobo and Smurf seem to be getting along! They’re in the middle of a split-cage introduction right now, but as you can see from the video below, Smurf is happy to let Gobo groom him, and things are going well!
Did you ever see Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock? (It aired on HBO in the '80s but is available on DVD now.)
The Fraggles had tufts of fur on the end of their tails, and the main character's name was Gobo. I thought since Fraggles had tufted tails, and gerbils have tufted tails, it would be a nice name. :)
