Hallie & Liza’s Chew Block Stash
Just had to share this photo with all of you.
A couple of weeks ago, Hallie and Liza started storing their chew blocks inside their wooden cradle. If I put a chew block anywhere in their tank, they carry it to the cradle and place it inside.
You can see three chew blocks in the cradle in the photo to the right. There are also two more chew blocks that you can’t see buried under the bedding in the cradle.
I just think it’s cute that they’re using their cradle as a giant toybox for their chew toys. :)

That's super cute! My 2 girls have the same wooden letter blocks. :) I have a couple questions for you--could I email them?
Sure, you can email your questions to me! From the top of the Twin Squeaks Blog page, point to Contact Us and then click Email Us from the submenu. :)
Hi, I tried to email you two times, but mail was returned, saying your mailbox was full. I have 2 gerbils purchased from the pet store last Friday. Wednesday night I noticed a bit on one of them... there was a gerbil "time out" for a couple hours on Thursday night (as they were getting ready to box) and since then they've been fine. I just cleaned their cage tonight, and while I was working they were in the bathtub with some of their toys. It looked like they were getting ready to rumble (almost in a ball), but then it stopped. A couple hours later, the same gerbil that had the bite on Wed. (which was almost gone) had a new bite, so I've separated them. I have a travel cage for critters (wire on top, plastic on the bottom) inside the 10 gallon tank. Each of them has a cardboard tube, something to run on, water, and some food... It just breaks my heart to see them separated. This past Friday, the bitten one (Coconut) was grooming the biter (Daisy), and Coconut sleeps on Daisy. I don't know what the problem is. Do you have suggestions? I don't want them to have to live separately forever... This is my first pair. Thanks!
