Feature Shelter Gerbil: George

I try to feature a shelter or rescue gerbil on the Twin Squeaks Blog as often as I can. Several of my gerbils have been either rescues or shelter gerbils, and so this is a cause very close to my heart.

Today's featured shelter gerbil is George. If you live near Abingdon, Maryland, maybe you can help George find a home.

George is a very lovely pied agouti male gerbil who is currently with one of the caregivers at Lunas House, a rescue organization for animals.

George is 1.5-years old and, according to Lunas House, will sit still in your hand and let you pet him. :)
